Mission Statement
The Society is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the history of Norwich Connecticut. To fulfill this dedication we shall:

- Encourage the study of Norwich history.
- Educate and enlighten persons about this history.
- Identify, collect, and preserve historical items such as documents, artifacts, memorabilia and personal recollections
- Encourage the acquisition and restoration of historic buildings and sites.
- Observe significant dates in Norwich's history
