The Cape Verdean Museum Plaque 
"Joseph Candido Delgado was inducted into the Cape Verdean Heritage Hall of Fame in 2008 for bringing credit to the Cape Verdean community and contributed to the history, prominence, and heritage of the Cape Verdean community."
This headboard is inscribed with "Mrs. Geraldine Delgado Born Sept. 24, 1884 Died June 18, 1934. Memory of a good wife.". This is their wedding picture
