DESCRIPTION:We’re very sorry\, but due to the inclement weather\, we were forced to cancel the NHS Second Saturday Kayak Tour tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience. \n——————————————————————————————————————– \nThree rivers come together in Norwich harbor\, which is rich with history! Join us as an expert guide leads you up to the base of Uncas Leap Falls and up the Shetucket River while sharing some of the river’s history. This will be a long paddle and could be strenuous at times depending on the current. \nIf you’re bringing your own Kayak: You may back into the yard near Thayer’s Marine\, unload your kayaks\, and park in the parking garage across the street. \nKayak Rentals: Thayer’s Marine\, Inc. will be renting Kayaks to those who are interested. Please call ahead around 8:00am or arrive early to make the necessary arrangements. \nParking is available at the Norwich Transportation Center at 10 Falls Ave \nSpecial thanks to Tucker Braddock and Thayer’s Marine\, Inc. for their assistance with this event!
