Visit the Yantic River gorge, a wonderful natural resource that is home to the legend of Uncas Leap. This tour will travel from the planned Uncas Leap Heritage Area to the Royal Mohegan Burial Ground. Explore the deep significance of the Mohegan Tribe’s heritage and its connection with the City of Norwich. Please note, parking is not permitted on the site any longer. There is a small off site parking area. Other parking options include Upper Falls and along Chelsea Parade. This tour is sponsored by the Mohegan Tribe, Norwich Historical Society, and the Last Green Valley. This event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required.
